Fresh Wasabi in Surprise

I have been to this restaurant about 5 times and the food is always good and service is just as good. I thought I had the menus down pretty well but when I ordered the server made a suggestion that got me essentially the same meal but saved me some money and a little more food.

Great service but the food here sucks. Only giving this place a 2 stars because the service was exceptional and the food came out fast. Unfortunately the food lacks a lot of flavor and mostly rice and vegetables instead of actual fish in the sushi rolls.

A great place! The prices are very reasonable at happy hour the menu is extensive the food is excellent. Recommended!

Go see David, He will set you up with to go order, even Drinks to Go! We stopped at another replace no service and left, so glad we stopped in. Will post after about food, I had many special requests and he helped and was so cool! Open during Covid call in order pick up next time.

Well I have been coming here for over a year! Love the place and my service is always top notch! When they are busy, which happens a lot, they are very good about checking in on us and making sure we are happy and good to go. My only complaint would be their water, it tastes like city water lol. Seriously nothing big to complain about and I know how to get around it. Also on a side note I finally tried the miso soup, which if you're thinking about doing, it is a broth like soup. It is heavily salted may be natural I am not sure cause of ingredients in the soup. It is good I enjoyed it, however if you aren't into salt or salty food I wouldn't suggest it 💁‍♀️.

Great experience!! Wonderful, friendly waitstaff & excellent quality sushi!! They will even make custom rolls for people who have allergies or sensitivity to foods.

Amazing Sushi but the service is lacking! Rolls came before appetizer, Waited for a long time for ice tea refill.

Food was good and we did get our food fast , but service was not so great today when we got there. Last time we did get better service. Might be new staff today and will get better. I'll go back again and try again.

The "First Love" is delicious!

So yummy! Great atmosphere, very clean, excellent service, very friendly, and the food was great! Ask for the off the menu spicy garlic edamame (and keep that sauce for your sushi!)! Decent happy hour menu and prices. We will definitely go back!

We ordered chicken teriyaki and OMG sushi roll, spicy garlic edamame. So yummy. Absolutely coming back!!!!!!

Cheap happy hour prices on a lot of sushi after 2pm. The ramen is delicious and the dumplings are to die for. Great customer service each time I've gone.

Delicious and fresh sushi at an affordable price. My server was the only server working when I went here for lunch today, however, you wouldn't know it based on the service I received. Excellent experience. I highly recommend Sushi Fix.

Long happy hour and great lunch specials make this a great option for lunch or dinner. Also, my husband and I went on a Friday night and they seated us right away!

This place replaces Hot Wasabi which was very good. Sushi Fix is definitely top shelf. The sushi is some of the very best I've had. Prices very reasonable. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I like sashimi and my wife and grandkids all like the rolls. Been here several times and never disappointed . Nice evening.

I really expected more from this place. It was super average. It is quite spendy and the portions we got were very small. Service was terrible. Took about 10min to get drinks and just sat there like ok should we go? We were told it was busy. Idk what busy means but 2 tables is not slammed. Decor is nice and the atmosphere is comfortable. Worth checking out but definitely not my local spot.

Absolutely fantastic sushi with a great environment. The calamari appetizer is a must. This may be our new "go to" place for sushi in Glendale.

One of the best and inexpensive sushi places! So delicious and so friendly, such a great combination! Go during lunch or evening for specials. Been going here for years, and even though they went through a rebrand it will always be fresh wasabi to me!

Greaaaaate place!!! Found this place on a whim. I've been on a sushi binge for the last month in search of quality sushi, experience w/old school customer service. This is the place for sure!!! You know the food is going to be great when you look @ the sushi in the case & you start licking your chops, almost drooling. Very very clean, welcoming, cozy, sleek decor w/hints of tradition. I compare it to my favorite spots in Scottsdale. Thank you Sushi Fix I'm glad to have found!!!

Such a nice cozy spot. I tried their "Guilty Pleasure" roll and it was great. Good flavor. My waitress Amber was very nice and had a great attitude. They do serve alcohol fyi.

Food was good!! but we sat at east end of restaurant and the smell of the nail place next door was strong at first then went away after awhile

I love sake bombs, the best ever when your off work. I'm buzzed right now, i can't remember my sushi order but it was delish.

The food was good but service was lacking. We got there right around opening time and it was dead, but multiple people at our table finished their drinks and never got refills, and the sushi came out way way before the bowls we ordered. That said the food was good and I plan to give this place another shot when it hasn't just opened in the morning

Vegetarian who likes a good veggie roll here. My veggie rolls weren't made the best (huge and falling apart). The fried tofu they have on the menu doesn't say there's fish, when it came out, there was fish flakes on top and the servers didn't know that's what it was, and me the vegetarian had no idea. Found out after it smelled so fishy. The waiter was great about it though, super nice, made sure it was taken off the bill and added a discount. Overall wouldn't come back as a vegetarian (there are a lot of other great places for me!), but the wait staff was super nice.

Nice ambiance and competitively priced but there was nothing truly special about the sushi. We got the rainbow roll and the I love shrimp roll and both were bland. We won't be going back.

First time trying this sushi bar and it is one of the better places I have gone. The sushi is fresh and presented beautifully and the staff is very attentive and kind. The environment is so relaxed from the music to the decor it’s very inviting!! Def recommend this place!!!

Loved this place, the Sushi was delicious! Best Spicy Tuna Roll I've ever had and the Tamago Roll was super yummy. Good prices, service, and atmosphere. Will definetly be returning soon!

90% of the time, the sushi is amazing. Unfortunately, the other 10% of the time the sashimi is mediocre at best. Despite this, it's still worth the gamble because when it's fresh, it's great! Plus the happy hour prices all day definitely don't hurt - highly recommend the seared salmon belly.

This place is AWESOME. Definitely going to be on my regular sushi rotation as the sushi was fresh, the happy hour has great prices and you get a serious bang for your buck. I went with a group of 3 of us and we ordered 4 rolls, a few sake bombs, edamame and we had leftovers afterward. The size of the rolls are great and the variety of rolls is good. Absolutely coming back for more!
